The Yo Jeffy! is our singletrack rocket, a mix of XC and trail characteristics, it's designed to be fast, light, versatile, nimble and playful. It's as at home between the tape as it is on long back country excursions and tight techy singletrack. Available in steel or titanium in stock or custom geometry. Options for single speed, bike packing, racks, etc available.
Our preferences are for playful, aggressive bikes that climb well and still let you hang it out on the descents. A balanced approach for a the diverse down country terrain we ride. It's nimble in the single track, perfect for big races such as the Dakota 5-0, and fun to blast off of rocks and jumps.
We designed it around a 120mm suspension fork, for two reasons:
1. There is a half pound difference in chassis weight between a 120mm Sid or Fox Stepcast 34 and the Pike or Fox 36
2. The 120mm length is perfect for the option of swapping in a Future Proof fork for duty as a bike packing or Tour Divide rig
It fits 29x2.6 tires and the geometry is a mix of trail and race with a 67.5 degree head tube angle and a high bottom bracket. It's a technical trail riders dream.
