Fun.
That’s the sole reason the Moto-Cruiser exists.

We realize it's highly possible that your desire to own one is completely illogical, but also very real. Same same for us. There's just something about a 3-bar frame, a looptail, and 26" wheels that call to a person. It's irresistible.

The Moto-Cruiser is a great choice for around town errands, pump track laps, local singletrack, dumb stunts, or daily wanderings. It’s a good bike for riding around and doing whatever. A simple bike for bike people. A joy-bringer.

Our buddy Kenny took one ride and exclaimed “this bike makes me feel like I have to be home in time for dinner.”

The Moto Cruiser was designed to be as easy to build up as possible from your parts bin or local used bike co-op. It takes rim brakes, 26” quick release or bolt on wheels, and can be built geared or single speed.

We're selling it as a frame, fork, and handlebar bundle, because we think the bar is integral to the experience. We also have options for a geared complete build if you prefer.

Designer's Notes
I've been dreaming of this one for a long time. It's a nod to so many influences…. The klunkers of the mtb pioneers, the untouchable cool of a Cook cruiser, and of course my own beloved 1x1 which has been my main city bike for over a decade. This was a project from the heart.

Looptail, big tire clearance, classic silhouette, derailleur capable horizontal dropouts, and the ability to choose from decades of available used parts, updated with stealth dropper routing and a more progressive geo for maximum playfulness.

I like the idea of providing a new purpose for old parts, so the Moto Cruiser was designed with maximum compatibility and customization in mind. Digging in your community stashes should produce most of the parts to put one together.

In bringing it to market we chose to sell it as a frame, fork, handlebar package because we believe that the tall bar is essential to experiencing this bike as intended, and packaging them all together saves you money vs. buying the bar separately.

In case you were wondering, the name Moto Cruiser is a tribute to Sweetheart Cycles, who originally made a Moto Cruiser model in the early / mid 80’s. Sweetheart later changed their name to Yeti Cycles.

Wilde Double Tuff
While the Moto-Cruiser uses the same high quality 4130 butted CrMo steel as our TLC frames, it is neither particularly light, nor particularly compliant. Frankly, it’s robust and fairly stiff. It's a full-strength MTB and the tubing is appropriate for the use case.
